Fall 2010
ISC Club Rush on September 21st - 23rd
It was a huge success, we got about 125 new signups!!! Huge thanks goes to all the members who were present from time to time promoting the club over the period of 3 days.
Knott's Berry Farm on September 17th
Knott's Berry farm is a theme park filled with roller coasters, fun rides, shows, and excitement! We were able to grab a chance to go there and enjoy our selves!! Love the twists and turns!
International Students Orientation on August 25th
It is an ISC tradition to Welcome new International students to Pierce. Continued on Fall 10, The same agenda over again. Some moments in between....
Spring 2010
Holi Festival Celebrations on February 27th
"Holi" is an Indian festival which is also known as the Festival of Colors. This is celebrated by people throwing colored powder and colored water at each other....Yes exactly how it sounds.
A group of UCLA students is organizing an event to celebrate this, and our club will also take part in this FUN/Exciting event to experience something different. We had quite a few new members for this event and we all enjoyed it together.. See the colors on our faces.. that sums up the story..
ISC Club Rush on February 18th
We were really glad to put up a great club rush after getting to know of it just 16 hours before. It was a huge success, we got about 30 new members to sign up, promoted our club among the faculty. Thanks are in order to the current members who were working on promoting our club at the hut. Also our member, Varun Kumar won the Pie Eating Competition hosted by the ASO President. Congratulations to Varun for the fund raiser!!
1st ISC meeting on February 17th
We had our 1st ISC meeting today and many members showed up including some new members. We did a brief introduction on club, members, what we do and are, and what are our plans for the next semester. It was fun meeting new members..
International Students Orientation on February 04th
It is an ISC tradition to Welcome new International students to Pierce. This gives new International students a good 1st impression about our college and we get to meet our new members.
The event usually includes speeches from College Dean, Dean in Student affairs, International Students advisor, ISC president and many more over the time of about 4 hours. This includes the breakfast, lunch and a tour around the campus.
